FAQs, Rates and Insurance
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! I am in-network with Horizon BCBS and United Healthcare.
What if my plan is not in-network?
My out of network rate is $140. Part or all of this fee might be covered by your out of network benefits. To determine if you are eligible for these benefits, contact the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask if they reimburse for mental health counseling services - billing codes 90837 and 90824.
How long will I be in therapy?
Treatment length varies greatly based on what issues clients are working through and how much time they want to spend in therapy. My goal is to help you find a place where you feel stable, empowered, and capable of making choices that best support yourself. My goal is never to keep someone in therapy for longer than they need or want to be. When you decide you have gained insight and tools from therapy and are ready to move on, I will be so happy and excited for you.
What makes your practice different?
I keep my caseload strategically lean so I can truly help and support my unique clients to avoid burn out many other therapists experience. Rest assured your stories, worries, and the small details of your life all matter to me.
Good Faith Estimate
As of January 1, 2022, you have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" that states how much your medical care will cost. Under this new law, health care providers are required to give patients who do not use medical insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a GFE for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs such as medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider provides a GFE in writing (see Forms section) at least one day before your medical service or item. You can also ask this health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a GFE before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your GFE, you can dispute the bill. Make sure you save a copy of your GFE. For questions or more information about your right to a GFE, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
