Therapy shouldn’t feel rigid and cold. My approach is warm, person-centered, encouraging and , at times, even fun .

human to human, here’s what you can expect from me…

Therapy jargon aside, Here’s a few things you can expect from me in our sessions together…

I have a great memory for the small details of your story. Your dogs name? Childhood best friend? A coworker who sent you an annoying email months ago? I got it - I’ll track it. I truly care about the small details of your life and what makes your story unique.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a soccer and lacrosse coach from the youth to collegiate level. You can expect that I will be encouraging, hopeful, and your biggest cheerleader.

I love this work and, similar to your own journey of self-growth, am committed to continually evolving as a clinician. When I’m not in sessions, I’m researching techniques and interventions that I think will help you reach your goals.

If you’re here as a parent looking for support for your child - I see you. As a parent of two toddlers, I understand how delicate it can feel to trust a professional when your child feels their most vulnerable. I promise to treat them with the same compassion and respect I would want someone to treat my own children.

I received my Master’s in Counseling from Arcadia University with a dual concentration in Child and Family Therapy and Health Education. Following graduation, through a community mental health program “Family Based Therapy,” I provided in-home family therapy for at-risk youth. In my current private practice, I specialize in helping teenagers and young adults overcome depression and anxiety that are keeping them in a state of feeling stuck, insecure, and unsure of how to move forward.

Here are a few theoretical orientations that inform how I uncover what’s going on “beneath the surface” and approaches I incorporate to help you step boldly into the self you want to become

  • Ecosystemic Therapy :

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
